Above are a few examples of the types of costumes we are hoping to use in our music video. As our target audience is indie, we need to ensure that the costumes fit in with the theme. If the costume are not appropriatly matched with the scene and song it will just look odd and confuse viewers. Therefore after our target audience research we have concluded to using the typical indie outfit.
Hair is not a major concern for indie's. They usually have messy hair, or all swept to one side. Most indie boys wear hats, meaning they do not have to bother with styling their hair.
Most typically wearing blue/black jeans. Can be ripped and old looking. Most commonly baggy and loose, oppose to tight, skinny jeans.
Footwear is most commonly casual trainers or plimsoles. Smart shoes and suit shoes are very uncommon with this type of fashion.
A typical patterened shirt. usually retro and edgey. Indie boys like to stand out and do not like clothes everyone else has.
Most of the time the colours and patterns of clothing will be dark and dull colours oppose to being bold patterns. Inidie's are not bothered about being centre of attention and seen wearing the most popular clothes, they just wear what they like and whats comfotable for them.
